Technical Project Manager

Description

OneLayer is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and execute complex projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery, manage resources efficiently, and maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead project planning sessions and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals.
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and provide regular updates.
• Ensure project outcomes meet quality standards and client expectations.

Requirements

Required

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Familiarity with cellular technologies and major vendors, including Nokia, Ericsson, and 4G/5G ecosystems.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and related technologies.
• Experience with project management software such as MS Project or Jira/Confluence.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Able to lead onsite workshops and kickoffs.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

Preferred

• Familiarity with Linux and Kubernetes.
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
• The ideal candidate will be based in the Central U.S. time zone.
