QA Manual & Automation Engineer

Description

We are seeking a highly experienced QA Manual & Automation Engineer to join the OneLayer team. In this role, you'll be the quality champion for our newly developed features. partnering with Engineering, Product, and UX/UI to bring testing into the earliest stages of the SDLC, adding quality checkpoints throughout the feature lifecycle to catch issues before they reach production. You'll also lead key automation efforts - designing, building, and maintaining reliable automated tests to boost coverage and accelerate stable releases.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

• 4+ years of experience as a QA engineer, Manual & Automation, working on complex systems (Required)
• Demonstrated ability to own feature quality end-to-end, from requirements through execution to release sign-off.
• Strong knowledge, experience, and proficiency with Python programming language (Required)
• Experience with developing & executing automation tests with Pytest/Playwright frameworks (Required)
• Experience with developing Automation infrastructure with Pytest/Playwright frameworks (Required)
• Experience in writing test plans (STDS) based on new feature requirements (Required).
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Github, Jira) (Required)
• Experience with large-scale databases (PostgreSQL) (Preferred)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud design patterns (Preferred)
• Knowledge of container ecosystem and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) (Preferred)
• Background in cybersecurity, Linux, and networking (Preferred)
